Para Ti is the collaborative effort between myself and my good friend, Christian Capestany, for the thesis requirement of NYU's CADA department. It is a 2D animation short about a man who fights to survive while working restlessly to gain freedom for his family from a revolution that has ravaged his country.

As a hockey fan I often find large gaps between seasons due to reprehensable negotiation tactics by greedy owners, so I have to find things that keep my love for hockey still burning strong during the interim.
I love the history of the game, so I am a huge fan of the teams that are no longer around or play under a different name. The Hartford Whalers (now the Carolina Hurricanes) are my favorite defunct/relocated team and also have my overall favorite logo in sports. I was thinking of doing something for them, but why limit myself to just one? I'm currently doing small logo animations for ALL of these teams, which is up around 20 or so, and will be posting all videos here and on my site.
Many thanks go to Chris Creamer's site, www.sportlogos.net, without whom some of these logos would be damn hard, if not impossible, to find.
DISCLAIMER: There were other professional hockey teams then, but I am confining this to only NHL teams. I am also only listing the Stanley Cups won after the league was founded in 1917.
Enjoy! Let's go Rangers! (whenever they're allowed to play)Animation, Motion Graphics2012 -
Some time ago, my friend and fraternal big brother Mike asked me to make a new logo for he and his fathers accounting firm in NJ. Granted this isn't my area of expertise, I accepted the challenge and am pretty pleased with the final result.
I wanted the logo to reflect the profession of accounting; to have the logo be neat and respectable.
The main typeface is a slightly altered version of Times (only the C and the A were modified). The ampersand I made by hand in Illustrator.
Below are a few of my favorite marks that went unused, without color.
If you need your taxes done and are local to New Jersey, I would definitely give these folks a call.
